The Heineken Glow turns bottles into green light for connection
When was the last time you just walked up to a stranger in a bar just for a chat? It’s scary - nobody wants to be talked to by a stranger, right?!

Wrong… If we may believe some very smart people at Psychology Today, we all mistakenly believe that most people want to be left alone. Which is a huge problem when everybody’s thirsty for connection. Luckily, Heineken knows its way around a good thirst.
With Heineken Glow, you can let everybody know that you’re open to talk. The Heineken Glow is a device you can click onto any Heineken bottle. When you light up The Glow, your regular Heineken bottle will turn into a literal green light for connection by brightening up - just like you.
SCRIPT 1

It’s 7 o’clock in a bar in the city.

We see a young couple watching a group of eccentric older women chatting the night away. Instead of hearing the women - we hear the couple’s conversation as the camera slowly zooms in on the laughing group.

Woman: Imagine being friends for all those years… The stories they must have? Imagine them in Spain together in the summer of '72. Maybe one of them broke her arm while dancing on a bar.

Man: Just like Emma?

Woman: Yeah… You think they all showed up when the first one went into labour while her husband was on a worktrip.

Man: They look like the group that would do that for each other… Don’t they?

Woman: Don’t you think the one on the left is secretly the funny one?

Man: I bet she was
the one who convinced the others to dance on top of that bar.

Woman: Are you saying she is me?

As the camera nears their table, a waiter comes up with some Heineken Glows.

Man: Only one way to find out...

The narrating couple walks into shot and introduces themselves to the women.

We end on a chilled Heineken Glow; in the background, we see the couple mingling with the group with the Glow shining on their faces.
SCRIPT 2

It's 7 o'clock in a bar in the city.

We see a group of older women watching a charming couple in the corner of the bar. We don't hear what the couple says - but we listen to the women as the camera slowly zooms in on the flirting couple.

Woman 1: Can you imagine being in love like that?

Woman 2: Like what? Like you feel like you're on top of the world? It's been a while since I've been on...

Woman 3: Do you think it's a first date?

Woman 2: If it is, it's a good one. Look at them.

Woman 1: You think they met in a shop?

Woman 2: Or maybe on the train, like you and Steve.

Woman 3: Oh gosh, we sound old. It's all online nowadays, right? On the Bumble?

Woman: 2: Do they realize how stunning they look together?

Woman 3: I wish someone had told me when I still looked like that.

As the camera nears their table, a waiter comes up with two Heineken Glows.

Woman: 1: Why don't you?

One of the women carefully enters the shot and introduces herself.

We end on a chilled Heineken Glow; in the background, we see the group mingling with the couple with the Glow shining on their faces. .
